Writing should just be called idea capturing
As I'm working on developing stories for new comics, I'm learning how to "write." It's such an inaccurate word for what writing really entails. Or perhaps my perception of the word was heretofore limited.
"Writing" to me means typing, or writing with a pen. Putting down words.

But writing in the context of writing a story or writing a comic or screenplay is so much more. Really, it's about creating ideas, characters, stories, worlds. Writing is creating and shaping a piece of art. It is crystallizing thoughts.
